Interview was conducted in a professional environment. 3 rounds later, it was confirmed. However, relocating to a new place was not possible at that time and hence had to ask to reconsider delaying the induction date which was not possible.

1st Interview - Inclusive of Essay (How do you think SG will be like in 15 years time?) & Precis which lasted 2 hours. It was followed by a panel interview with a HR Manager & a Ground Ops Manager. Interview was smooth and the interviewers just wanted to get a feel of your interest in the position. They gave ample opportunities to showcase your leadership qualities by asking questions on a past experience of handling an exception. It lasted 20 minutes.
2nd Interview - Inclusive of Numerical, Logical, Abstract and Deductive tests which also lasted 2 hours. It was then followed by another panel interview, but this time with two SVPs; one from HR and the other from Ground Ops. A lot of questions were being asked to keep you on your feet. Especially on the recent incident, relocation, hobby, exception handling, qualities of a TSM. It lasted about 30 minutes.
I applied online. I interviewed at Singapore Airlines in Feb 2011
Interview
It was a multiple round interview.
First was a panel interview with a HR manager and a Ground Ops manager. The interview was okay, the interviewers were friendly and wanted to gauge your interest in the position. They will also scrutinize your resume and ask you to elaborate your past experience and it will contribute to the job. And they will try to find out how willing you are to relocate overseas and change cities frequently.
Immediately after the interview, we were made to do the essays and summary. It's similar to a GP exam. About 2 hours.
For the second interview, we first had to do some numerical, logical and abstract tests. Again, about 2 hours. This was then followed by a panel interview with two SVPs, one from HR and one the overall in-charge of TSMs. A lot of questions to put you on the spot and see how you respond.
