The interviewer was the Director of the Development Office at SGH. She shows disinterest during the interview and was also hostile when I asked her if the position of Manager (Development Office) I applied for is a newly created post or to fill in for someone who left. She was reluctant to say so until finally after some asking, she said was to fill in for someone who left after less than a year. She looks very agitated when I asked her for more information about the role as I believe the interview session should be a 2-way communication and not just the interviewer asking me questions all the time. When I asked her what other duties are expected of the new incumbent, she angrily told me that the department in fact has another 25 more different programs running and why I did not read and know about them. Look: You know very well your programs that are running but they are all not well publicise to the public either through social media. Hence, how would you expect the public to know so much about your work which shows a failure on your publicity. I also find the way she interviews candidates is very old school and it is no longer practical for use at this time and age. Maybe you have been inside the same organisation for too long, thinks too highly about yourself and not knowing that change is constant. Join the department and surely will regret it and I don't think anyone can also stay there for too long. Turnover rate is high because of her! She is very unprofessional during the interview.
