Amateurish and unprofessional. First interview was with the recruiter. Beyond the typical resume review, her questions were unfocused, overly broad, and didn't seem aligned to the actual strategic responsibilities of the job (asking if I get paid on commission despite the fact this is not a quota-carrying role, asking if I "keep up on market trends", etc). Nonetheless, I asked clarifying questions (she couldn't clarify) tried to answer as best I could. She then scheduled me to meet with the hiring manager the next day. At the appointed time, the hiring manager never appeared. I emailed the recruiter, the hiring manager, and his hiring manager asking where everyone was. The hiring manger emailed after the meeting and said he was flying and was unaware he had a meeting. The hiring manager also emailed, apologized, and said she'd reschedule. 4 hours later, a different recruiter emailed me and asked me to fill out a Calendly link with my available times. I replied that I was available the next day after 12. She said this wouldn't work and asked for my potential meeting times. At this point, I emailed the team and withdrew my application. How a company treats a candidate is how they treat a customer.
