I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Site Impact in June 2024
Interview
There were three interview rounds. First, I met with two VPs for 45 minutes each, followed by a 30-minute interview with the CTO. The interviews were fairly straightforward, with most of the questions being technical.

Interview
It felt like the interviewer was in a rush and couldn't provide clear explanation of the day-to-day tasks within the role.
There wasn't any structure to the interview and they were slow to communicate in general.

Interview
I recently went through the interview process for the Senior Digital Strategist role at Site Impact and wanted to share my experience. The initial stages of the interview, conducted by the recruiters, were quite positive. They seemed professional and provided valuable insights about the position. However, I was taken aback when they mentioned that the role would report to the COO, who was described as being blunt, short, and direct. During the video interview with the COO, I quickly realized that the recruiters' description was accurate, but in an unexpected way. Throughout the entire interview, the COO was preoccupied with her phone, constantly texting or replying to chat messages. It was evident that she wasn't actively listening to the conversation at all. Occasionally, she would glance up from her phone and ask a generic question unrelated to the topic we were discussing, only to quickly return to her phone. This behavior left a lasting impression on me and raised concerns about the way the COO would manage the role I was applying for. It became apparent within the first five minutes that this would not be the right fit for me. Regardless of my qualifications or suitability for the position, the COO's lack of engagement and disregard for the interview made it clear that pursuing this role would not be a productive or fulfilling endeavor. Based on my experience, it is crucial for potential candidates to be aware of the management style exhibited by the COO during the interview process. While Site Impact may have other appealing aspects, it is important to consider how this behavior might impact one's day-to-day work and overall job satisfaction.
