I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sitetracker in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process at Sitetracker consisted of multiple rounds, including:
Initial Screening: A call with the hiring manager to discuss my background, experience, and expectations.
Technical Interview: A deep dive into Salesforce-related concepts, problem-solving, and hands-on coding.
Discussion with People Operations: A conversation focused on company culture, benefits, and general expectations.
Final Rounds: A meeting with the Engineering Manager (EM) and Vice President (VP) to discuss technical expertise, past projects, and alignment with company goals.
Interview Experience
The process was well-structured and moved quickly. The interviewers were professional and asked relevant questions, mainly focused on Salesforce development, problem-solving, and system design. The final discussion with leadership provided insight into the company's vision and future opportunities.
The interviewer focused more on the approach rather than perfect execution, though having both was a plus. They valued clear communication, problem-solving strategies, and trade-off analysis. Optimizations, handling edge cases, and performance considerations were key discussion points. Code quality, debugging skills, and best practices were appreciated. They also assessed adaptability, collaboration, and a learning mindset.
