1. Got a call from the Recruiter and had a brief discussion about my experience and salary expectations. I said I'm expecting 10 LPA and the recruiter said that can be done
2. A technical interview with the team lead was scheduled the next day and it went great. Mostly questions from my resume
3. A tool test where they will ask you to solve a specific case using a simulation tool of your choice like STARCCM+, FLUENT etc.
All three rounds went great.
4. HR interview - The interviewer asked me some generic HR questions and told me that they have decided to offer me 6 LPA. I said that was not what was agreed and they said they'll get back to me in a few days after discussing with their team and I got a reject email the next day.
I emailed and called them a couple of times but never got any feedback.
The rest of the interview except the HR round was great and went smoothly. I would've preferred if they were honest about the package that they were going to offer before making me jump through all the hoops.
