- a phone call w/ some minimal tech questions
- technical interview where they asked constant OOP, Java, general coding questions at you for 20-30 minutes
I completed both of these, and the positive was the recruiter was very kind throughout the process with advice, answering questions, etc. I poured hours into studying for the technical interview, I dressed extremely nice, and I thought I had nailed it. Later, the recruiter reached out and told me I did not qualify to move on with the hiring process for the position. I immediately responded, inquiring about where I failed to satisfy what they wanted for the position, as I was pretty bewildered. They've ghosted me since. Looking back, seems they are just scraping a lot of people as fast as they can for their contracts to make profit. The hiring process w/ the interviews and questions were great practice for me, and gave me an excuse to stay sharp in areas I should (OOP, coding theories, etc), but after lots of reflection, I'm kind of glad to have not been given the offer. Found something much better.
