2 stage process. First stage is the technical chat with the team on-site about experience, technical ability and behavioural/team fitness. Second stage is the probation task. It is paid for (takes about 2-3 weeks), can be both remote / or on-site, if both side deem it successful and prefer to continue working together – a contract is drawn.
