I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Skyryse (El Segundo, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Easy, general questions about character and personality. Past experiences. No specific technical questions or coding exercise. Over all easier than some other interviews I had in the past. The company is in the general aviation

Question 1
Describe a situation that you had to overcome the odd to achieve an outcome
The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Skyryse (New York, NY)
Interview
They had the longest interview process for no apparent reason.
1) Interview with the HR
2) Technical with a lead about past work experience.
3) Behavioral/ Technical with Manager.
4) Onsite on campus interview
The onsite interview was all over the place. They weren't organized a bit. They had planned 5 interviews out of which three people were technical and 2 were HR/Manager. Out of 3 technical interview 2 didn't show up for the interview, so I had to zoom with one after going back home and the other one cut the zoom meeting in half. The three people onsite were the people I had already talked to before onsite, so all those conversations went very well. During the interview with the guy on zoom, I wasn't able to answer one question related to a term, but everything else went amazing. When I was leaving, they made it seem like that it was a done deal. After onsite, I was sent a cognitive and behavioral test, so it gave me a confirmation that the onsite went well that's why they wanna test further. Then after 2 days they call to tell me that everything was good, just that the I wasn't able to answer the definition to the term . This whole process was frustrating because I spent way to much time for this, and if that one term or concept was so crucial for the hiring decision, then why not do that first . They wasted so much of my time. So unprofessional.

I’m really sorry that your onsite interview experience was not what you expected. We strive to make meaningful connections with all candidates and go through a rigorous process involving multiple steps. Unfortunately there are times when unforeseen circumstances arise we end up conducting some of the onsite interviews over zoom. This happened to be one of those times. We appreciate that you took the time to meet with us onsite and provide feedback as it will help us improve our process and candidate experiences in the future. We wish you the very best as you continue to search for your next opportunity.
Thank you,
