HR call, data challenge, interviews with 3-4 people in the leadership team.
The data challenge is divided into advanced analytics/ml, data visualizations and data engineering. You can choose which approach you want to take when analyzing the data. They give a weeks deadline to submit code, documentation and a presentation.

Question 1
Resume walkthrough. They dive deep into your past experiences and projects. You need to explain why you chose a particular approach, why not use some other theory, which tools you used and why. With that, the interviews also get to see how you explain a particular concept or model, how well you understand it and how you present it. Overall, a very balanced interview process.

Spoke with recruiter. Didn’t have anything right now; I don’t think anything will come of it. But it was nice of them to reach out knowing I was interested. I’ve interviewed a few times but all three times nothing really happened so hoping I stay in their system.

Interview
Multiple less-formal conversations with two different recruiters, which moved into three formal interviews. Before my first interview, I was assigned a tech-challenge that I had roughly about a week to complete. The first interview was an hour-long technical interview, where we went over my solution to the take-home challenge. I discussed my thought-process, challenges I ran into, and things I would add if I were to have additional time. The second interview was 30 minutes, and was a behavioral format. The final interview was around 45 minutes, and was with the director of the team, in which they assessed team-fit and discussed the culture of Slalom.
