Multiple interviews with recruiters. It was hit or miss, overall negative experience with broken career web site, and lack of follow-up.
My first screening interview was in person in Seattle for Slalom Build., an internal group that is outsourcing work from their customers, as opposed to staff augmentation at the customer site. The interviewer was professional, thorough and friendly. We visited the Slalom Build facility during the screening interview. I was impressed. This was in 2018. I eventually choose to not pursue and did not go through the full interview loop.
The first interaction was positive but the following was not.
I tried to apply to a different position shortly after through their web site. It crashed. I could not complete my application fully. Part of it was already recorded, with no way to update the missing part. I contacted the support team, to no avail.
Fast forward to January 2021. A different recruiter reached out to me. I was actually interested and wanted to engage further. I did not hear back from him... although he was the one initiating the discussion.
I believe the company is good, but my personal experience trying to get hired has been frustrating.

I interviewed with Slalom in 2025 for a consulting role, to be staff augmentation for a "large-client". The interviewer himself was pretty nice. The question that I got was valid palindrome. See my other interview questions for the other things asked.

Interview
Process started on June 2025, got 2 interviews, one with RRHH and a technical interview, after that they ghost me for 8 months and try to continue the process. "New" process were 2 interviews, one technical and one with the boss of that role. The changed completely the benefits, payscale and even the working shift.
