I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom
Interview
Contacted by recruiter. quickly arranged 45 minute screening call soon followed by video calls, 45 to 60 minutes each, with Practice Director, Practice Leader and Managing Director. Up until this point very efficient, interesting, professional and pleasant. Hearing nothing back for nearly 2 weeks I contacted the recruiter. Was told I was being put on hold due to lack of current project need.
Heard via networking circles that people are experiencing significant bench time.
My advice to anyone contacted by a Slalom recruiter is get a very clear understanding of the role they envision hiring you for, ask outright if they have project work currently available and how soon they are looking to fill the position, etc.

Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
