I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slalom (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
The interview process took about 2 months. I had an initial 15-minute call with a recruiter who found me on LinkedIn. I had four 1-hour in-office interviews with another recruiter and three other employees at various levels from the practice area I was interviewing for. Each interview was anywhere from 1-3 weeks apart. The recruiter was prompt in getting back to me though at times I was unsure about exactly what to expect in terms of a timeline. I was informed it was usually a long process so no surprise there.
My interviews were generally conversational. It seemed like the interviewers primarily wanted to determine if I was a cultural fit. Of course, there were also the usual questions about background and experience and a handful of situational/behavioral questions about my positive and negative client experiences.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.

Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
