      Technical Consultant Interview

      21 Aug 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Atlanta, GA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2015

      Interview

The interview process consisted of 3 interviews. The first interview was a phone interview with a recruiter which was focused on your preview project experiences, gauging your communication skills, and interest in the company. The second interview was a two part in-person interview with 2 members of the Slalom's consulting team. The first interviewer conducts a behavioral assessment that is not focused on your technical knowledge but with how you managed overall project commitments and expectations. The second interview was a technical consultant in my similar domain and asked specific questions on solutions I presented from my past projects. The third interview was a two part in-person interview with 2 members of Slalom's Leadership Team. I met with the Practice Area Director and Managing Director to discuss the company's go-to-market strategy and an explanation of the company's organizational structure. The Director focused on what my activities within the company would be and asked me to elaborate on my previous experiences that I could rely on to complete the activities.

      Technical Consultant Interview

      27 July 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Slalom (New York, NY) in Apr 2019

      Interview

I applied online. The company is attractive and people there are smart. But the hiring process is so long. First it included a coding take home. Then I did not get feedback till 2 months later, I was told to have a phone interview. Then an onsite. It all went out well. But they ended up with no HC and we suspend the process. Overall it lasted about 4 months. It is like the nature of a project based business.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Slalom (London, England)

      Interview

Interview process is very slick. It involved 3 rounds, technically 2! First Round - Just a friendly chat the talent recruiter to understand what Slalom does. Second Round - Technical interview with the hiring team Third Round - Chat with the MD to understand the business and different verticals of the company.

      Technical Consultant Interview

      7 Aug 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2018

      Interview

I had a total of 5 interviews spread out over 4 weeks from initial contact to offer: - Initial chat over coffee with HR (wanted to make sure I knew the role and if I would be a good fit for consulting) - Tech screening over the phone (bunch of trivia questions about technologies off of my resume and coding questions using a shared online editor) - Three on-site interviews with the practice leads, managing director Overall, the interview process was really transparent, and the HR person was really professional and prompt. I found the interviews collaborative and conversational. It was positive experience and probably one of the best interview processes I've been through.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Straightforward coding questions (no tricks nor obscure data structures), lots of behavioral questions.
