My initial phone screen and every interaction with the recruiter was awesome, however my interview with the hiring manager was a negative experience. He did not seem engaged at all and even yawned at one point when I was speaking. He ended up not moving forward with me because of skill sets that were not even listed on the job description, and I could not help but wonder if I was older and a man if this would have been an issue.
