I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sleep Cycle (Gothenburg, Västra Götaland) in June 2024
Interview
There was a screening phone call, an interview with a PO and then an interview with a CEO and one of the engineers.
The phone call was fine, and the interview with the PO was fantastic.
The final interview had a distinct "impress me" vibe from the CEO, which is understandable given it's a startup environment.
If the CEO and engineer had been a bit more engaged in the conversation, the interview might have flowed more smoothly. Instead, it felt awkward, with questions that seemed to lead down inconsequential rabbit holes, almost as if they were deliberately trying to trip me up. Though that likely wasn’t their intention, if interviews are meant to be a dance, this one felt more like a stumbling session.
