I interviewed at Smart City Locating (Houston, TX) in May 2020
Interview
The interview was via zoom. It was casual and fast. A lot of personal questions and an overview explanation of how their system worked. I was a bit disappointed to find out I had to pay for my own training and license before i could start working which would be reimbursed but that was a bit odd for me.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Smart City Locating (Houston, TX) in June 2017
Interview
Best interview experience I've ever been a part of. Very laid back and casual. I felt more like I was hanging out and chatting with friends, and that's what this company exudes. It IS an interview, so obviously there was discussion of why you want to work there and telling them about yourself, but no BS. Just lighthearted, honest communication about yourself, the position, and the company.
As another person posted, think the exact opposite of your typical corporate interview. This was the first interview I felt excited about and knew there was an instant connection with the people and the environment.
Advice to other applicants: be yourself and if it's meant to work out..it will!
