Talent acquisition called and arranged everything. He was very helpful in explaining all the processes. The first interview is online with him and is expected to take 45 minutes. It is after that the interview with the direct supervisor is done.

Question 1
Why I chose the company and why I should stay there once I get the job
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SmartONE Solutions in Nov 2023
Interview
I was first contacted by the Talent Manager. He was very informative and clearly outlined the role, company etc.
My first interview was also with him via video, It was interactive, professional and positive. He asked detailed, thoughtful questions. All my questions were answered and next steps were clearly defined,
My next interview was with the person I'd be reporting to. This was a live meeting at the head office. This was also very informative and I learned a lot more about the company, the expectations of the role, how this role contributes to the company's success, growth plans etc. Another very positive experience.
The final formal interview was with the Founder/CEO, also in person at the office. He was very transparent and informative, I learned more about the role and the company's successes, challenges and future. It was clear then that he is a strong, thoughtful and humble leader. He feels that the company's success is a result of the dedication and hard work of the team.
Additionally, there were a few phone conversations in between.

Question 1
Questions were a combination of quantitative, situational and behavioral. Questions were designed to learn about my experience and background, and also prompt examples and discussions about real experiences that would translate to the role.

Interview
The position was hybrid. During the interview the CTO said it would be 2-3x a week in the office with no reasons for that but some people don’t go to the office at all, including the hiring manager (also present at the interview). Company clearly does not have policy about remote work. It depends on CTO’s mood.
