I applied online marketing and fundraising intern at Smithsonian. It was a phone interview and there are just a couple of questions which are easy to answer regarding university experiences and my interests of Smithsonian.

It was very easy and encouraging. They listened to what I am interested in as I described by past experience. They talked about what groups within the museums they collaborate with.

The interview process was really smooth. We did it over Zoom and it was with the direct manager of the role. The interview was about 30 minutes. It was pleasant and I learned a lot about the role.

Easier than I expected - around a 20-30 minute interview with very basic interview questions about strengths, weaknesses, why I wanted to intern there, knowledge about the NMAH, etc. Fairly straightforward interview :)
