I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Social Security Administration (Kansas City, MO) in Dec 2022
Interview
I applied at the beginning of November and got an interview after about two weeks. There was only one round of interview that was with a panel who took turn asking questions; math worksheet that was pretty basic algebra after the interview. It took about a month after the interview before I heard back. Everyone was really nice, but it's a little awkward at times when you can tell they're writing down your answers before they go on to your next question.
