I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Softensity in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Softensity
Interview
The interview process had three stages: HR screening, technical interview with live coding, and a client interview. Overall, the process was well-structured, though I felt the technical interviewer could have communicated more clearly during the coding session.
After about a month, I received an offer but was asked to respond the same day. When I declined, they came back with counter-offers, emphasizing they needed a quick decision due to other candidates in their pipeline. While I understand companies have timelines, the pressure to decide immediately didn't work well for me personally.
For future candidates, I'd suggest asking about their typical response timeframes upfront. The role and team seemed interesting, but the rushed decision-making process wasn't the right fit for my situation.

Interview
A recruiter reached out to me, conducted an initial interview, and then scheduled a technical interview with an architect. Although the role was eventually paused, the overall experience was positive and professionally engaging.
