I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Solidyn Solutions (Denver, CO)
Interview
Had a very strange time interviewing with these guys. It ended up being a total waste of time. They seem to be incapable of finding their own candidates, so they rely on other contracting agencies to find people. So you would start as a contractor to a contractor to a defense client. I interviewed with Solidyn for a decent cloud/devops position, but when I interviewed with the actual client, it became a job in some ancient technology that nobody uses any more. Solidyn couldn't even schedule the interview time right, so the client wasn't prepared to interview me when I showed up. Anyway, Solidyn gave me a verbal offer, but it turned into a whole lot of nothing except a bait and switch. Good thing I didn't quit my existing job for Solidyn. I would avoid getting jerked around by these guys.

Question 1
They didn't ask a lot of technical questions, which was suspicious to me.
Like most companies, Solidyn uses recruiting firms as an extension to its HR Team in finding top notch candidates. Solidyn works very hard to ensure candidates have a positive and favorable interview process with us or our customers. Regrettably, from this review that wasn’t your experience. Please know your interview experience is extremely rare and we will take the feedback to heart.
