Ghosted.
I completed an initial screening with the recruiter, followed by a technical interview. I took time out of my schedule and made the effort to prepare for and attend both interviews. I was told the next step would be another interview with the client. After that, I was ghosted, with no updates or follow-up communication.
Being ghosted during a hiring process leaves candidates without clarity or closure and creates a negative impression of the company’s communication standards.
The company should improve communication throughout the hiring process, even when there are delays or decisions are still pending. Providing timely updates or a clear closure would create a more professional experience and help maintain a positive impression among candidates.

We are sorry you had this experience. You should have received clear updates and closure after your interviews, and we didn’t meet that standard here.
We are reviewing this case and working to make our communication more consistent and timely at every stage.
Thank you for your feedback.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sombra (Medellín, Antioquia)
Interview
The recruitment process had 3 steps, recruiter interview, technical interview with Sombra team and technical interview with the client. I could say Sombra technical interview was a little harder than the interview with the client

Thanks for sharing your experience with the interview process. And yes — our technical interviews can sometimes feel a bit tougher 😄 We try to keep the bar meaningful while still making the process comfortable and respectful for candidates.
Glad to hear the overall experience was a positive one, happy to see you at Sombra!
