Interview
Interviewed for a Staff software engineer position. The interview was familiar, hospitality-based data structures-ish questions plus a behavioral round with hiring manager. Overall a positive and quick interview experience, and it was clear Sonder didn't just copy paste their questions off of Leetcode.
Unfortunately the offer stage was not as positive. Their benefits were good, but compensation for years of experience was not competitive, even after factoring in equity at Sonder's favorable valuation. The recruiter who presented the offer repeatedly mentioned that salary was a 'small issue' and 'not what anyone is here for', yet said the offered compensation was firm and that they could not offer me more than I was making a few years ago.
Additionally, I was offered a position two levels lower than what I interviewed for. This was never mentioned until I brought up the title of the position offered, and Sonder was completely unwilling to convey average years of experience for each role, nor how/why they offered me two levels lower than what I interviewed for, despight supposedly passing the interview.
Overall, a good interview process and a decent company outlook, but compensation and the offer stage is where they really lost me.

Interview
Phone screen following 3 on sites. The overall interview was great despite did not get positive feedback. There is a reason the rating for this company is very low and felt its waste of time interviewing with this company.
