I interviewed with the hiring manager who seemed to know nothing about web development. When asked about my salary expectations, she seemed shocked and didn't know what to say. I was later notified that they could not meet me salary expectations via email. A week later I received an email with broken grammar from HR letting me know that I was still being considered for the position. I followed up to clarify with my original HR contact who never replied.
