The interviewer treated me as if I were truly stupid. I kept telling her about my 10 years of project management experience and she kept asking if I knew Microsoft Word. I told her that I had 20 years of experience. They had me take a test to show that I indeed could do math. I am actually an engineer and have recently worked for Puritan Medical Products (swab) company doing their QA/QC documentation during COVID. They are muting my actual voice, and pretending that I am stupid. If you only hear their response to me, it doesn't matter how logical I am... I will still sound stupid. And just like the Taliban, you can't kill them with kindness. But apparently, I can't climb my way out of it either. This has nothing to do with the African-American experience and slavery, because I am an american who studied African-American history in college. It would have been PoCs to create the underground railroad I needed if anyone. But they didn't take me home either. There was no one to help me anywhere.
