The hiring process seemed extremely cautious and prolonged. I interviewed via phone with VP of sales, sales rep, then in person with them both. Then executive leadership as well. smart people work here, smart product, good solution in my opinion. differentiated. i was excited about the opportunity but curbed this enthusiasm until i saw the offer they were going to put on the table. a lot of companies say a lot of things and boast about existing pipeline. this is a start up of about 120 people so i think they're being a little too cautious about how and whom they hire. I was clearly the person for the position and answered the substance of the questions with finesse and personality. only thing is they wanted to see more enthusiasm and excitement and industry experience. it was a good experience overall and i think they'll do well. they were just too careful ......and possibly a little (just a tiny bit) aloof or above-the-candidate.
