I applied online. I interviewed at SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Screening call with recruiter, then two rounds of phone interviews followed by site visit. Screening call mostly consisted of describing past experiences relevant to job and explaining interest in joining SpaceX. First interview was with hiring manager, consisted of technical questions, split evenly between rocket propulsion concepts and transient combustion behavior. Second interview was with hiring manager's supervisor and contained some technical discussion on transient combustion phenomena and gauging cultural fit. Site visit consisted of a site tour, presentation, and several interviews with one or two team members to discuss technical competency in engine architecture, propulsion concepts, and transient combustion phenomena.
