Like others have mentioned, I've been ghosted with no closure or feedback. I had two interviews with different members of the team and still haven't heard anything after almost 3 weeks.
At the end of the day, SpaceX probably wasn't for me anyway. Both of my interviewers seemed intentionally prickly and aggressive. My second interviewer basically checked-out within the first 30 seconds of our call (they couldn't even muster up a polite greeting) and kinda huffed-and-puffed their way through the interview. Seemed overly rude and childish. That style of Recruiting probably works for SpaceX, but kinda turned me off of the opportunity entirely. I also would be extremely wary of an organization that thinks it's acceptable to leave candidates hanging with no closure during a time when so many people are out of work and desperate for a next opportunity.

Question 1
Mostly generic questions about SpaceX and my experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Three rounds total. The SpaceX interview process is rigorous, involving multiple stages: initial screening, technical interviews, problem-solving assessments, and panel interviews, all designed to evaluate technical expertise, innovation, and cultural fit.
I applied online. I interviewed at SpaceX (Redmond, WA)
Interview
Was asked to submit a document with 3-5 of the biggest accomplishments you’ve contributed to. Seems odd considering you can ask via interview vs write an essay. Interview loops consisted of a 2:1 interviewer to candidate ratio. Slightly intimidating/uncomfortable

Question 1
Write the biggest accomplishments you’ve achieved in your career
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX in July 2023
Interview
Recruiter conversation Ops interviewe onsite interviewers were unprepared for an interview and clearly did not respect candidate time. most were late, most seemed uninterested, some showed zero respect for their employees. Id highly recommend against spending your time with this company.
