I applied online. I interviewed at SpaceX (Brownsville, TX)
Interview
First there is a phone screening, next there are interviews with engineers and managers, then finally there are in-person interviews. In the final interviews you need to give an in-depth technical presentation on a project you have worked on.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
First interview was a typical recruiter behavioral screening with a few simple technical questions.
Second interview was with a subsystems lead. He asked me many questions about the project on my resume that was most relevant for the position, sometimes adding hypotheticals.
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SpaceX in Sept 2017
Interview
Interview was tough. They went in depth on anything they found you were slightly less confident on, and drove that point home. At the end of the day, a lot of focus went into what you don't know rather than getting to talk about what you do know and are interested in.
