Question 1
What kind of car do you drive? (Because you have to haul furniture.)
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Spectrum Industries (Chippewa Falls, WI) in June 2014
Interview
I initially replied to a posting on Monster.com in April, and I was contacted at the end of June to see if I was still interested. I indicated that I was, and then I was required to take 2 online assessments. One was a behavioral assessment (lots of questions about workplace theft and drug use) and the other was a IQ test (patter recognition, math, word definitions, etc.). I was then asked to come in immediately for an interview in June. I was to have a team interview but only one manager was available to discuss the position. I then had a separate interview to follow up about answers I gave in the online assessment. I felt the interviews went very well, and I was told that I would be contacted shortly for follow-up. I still had not heard anything by the 3nd week of July, at which point I sent an email to inquire on the process; I received no reply to that email and a couple more that I had sent. Finally with a different job offer given to me, I made one more attempt in late August to find the status of the position. I was finally told that the position had been filled but my resume would be kept on file.

Question 1
The IQ test had several math question and pattern recognition questions which were difficult. The test said not to use a calculator but scratch paper was acceptable, and I complied with the instructions. I "rushed" through the test thinking that timing was a component; later I found out that accuracy was more important than speed.
