It was draining. 9 rounds of individual interviews spread over about 8 weeks between (redacted), hiring manager, hiring manager’s manager, and six different stakeholders the role would interact with internally.
Interviews with stakeholders were needlessly more challenging (and sometimes slightly combative?) than with the HM.
Overall the interviews themselves were not overly hard, but the length of the interview process was draining and lessened my excitement for the role.
After everything was complete I was not chosen for the role and was sent a generic email stating this. No feedback, no phone call. Disappointing for a company I admired going into the process.
