I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spreedly (Durham, NC) in July 2025
Interview
Recruiter was timely, prompt and asked good questions. It was clear they were reading a script the entire interview but besides that, they explained the role well and answered questions I had. The recruiter let me know they would follow up in a couple of days, which they did. I was moved forward to the next round of interviews, but I let them know the job wasn't a good fit for me and the recruiter responded thoughtfully and wished me well.
Started with a recruiter call, then hour with manager and engineer, take home coding assignment that had a few days to work on, culture fit interview and then hour final round with director and another engineer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spreedly in Mar 2023
Interview
Was strung along for weeks. The second interview involved, four different people back to back, and the HR manager was 15 minutes late to her portion. I had to reach out to the recruiters to make sure that I have a time correct especially because it was a 30 minute interview and I had another session immediately following hers. I was told repeatedly that they loved me as a candidate, and then the in-house recruiter scheduled a call after about 3 to 4 days just to let me know that they would be moving forward with another candidate. I I had interviewed for plenty of job jobs and had been passed over at that point plenty of times, but this one just especially felt like a punch to the gut. I felt like my time was disrespected.

Question 1
It was a mostly conversational interview. There were broad questions about my experience.
