Interview process was good . Three step interview: Initial HR screen, Hiring Manager and Team/ Panel interview onsite. They interviewed for technical skills, good cultural fit, company is great and the Austin office is beautiful. I had no problem with interview coordination and overall process but I'm upset the later part. I had given a verbal offer immediately after onsite next day but they decided on same day to interview one of the internal candidate that was interested in this position and moved ahead with internal candidate. My only request for Spreetail is that its great that you are giving opportunities to internal candidates but once you are looking for external candidates in market and you really love them , then it should be final call for hiring decision! Internal candidates should be motivated to apply beforehand and not after you are considering external candidate. This is the experience I have never had before and I hope this experience does not happen with anyone else. Glad that I had job offer already so I could pursue that but for actively searching candidates who might be laid off or jobless , its a sad experience.
