Sprout Social Platform Software Engineer interview questions

The recruiter sent me a few emails, and I had not confirmed the phone call date. I checked my email again, and she had scheduled the interview for that day without confirmation. She called anyway even after I sent an email hours before asking to reschedule. She stated that she missed the email. I tried to reschedule the interview for a later date since I was busy that day, and we agreed to the next Monday. She called and had a conversation with me in which I was never rude, etc. We basically just discussed the same items that were on my resume. I asked a few short questions at the end. I was turned down without ever reaching any of the technical interviews, which has never happened to me before as I am mostly qualified. It is fine if they did not see a fit, but I am not sure why they contacted me at all . I decided to post this interview experience after reading some of the other interview experiences that closely aligned with mine.
