I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sprouts Farmers Market (Denver, CO) in June 2015
Interview
I applied as a college graduate (overqualified but desperate) and they never responded. I had to show up in person to ask about my status and they asked me to come in for a drug test after a 2-minute discussion. They told me about how much money I can make as a college graduate, but I discovered it is an opportunity only for the lucky favorites who happen to be working there as college graduates. The drug test took 5 minutes and I went home again. It took me over 3 weeks to become hired due to problem at corporate's end and the job itself was a waste of time.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sprouts Farmers Market (Oklahoma City, OK) in Oct 2014
Interview
Informal and comfortable. The interview consisted of pretty basic interview questions. However, after the question was answered a short conversation about each of my answers happened. It definitely showed that my interviewer was listening and showed interest in what I was saying.
