I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Squarepoint Capital (New York, NY) in July 2020
Interview
Three rounds, first tech interview (coding and stat), next dataset interview, final is on market knowledge and previous experience. Got an offer for part-time work(not the official offer letter), but disagreed on on-site work, and never got any word since then.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Squarepoint Capital
Interview
Referral from a friend. I had a phone interview that consisted of 3 probability questions and easy leet code problem. They were very unprofessional with the scheduling. They cancelled my second round just a few hours before the scheduled time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Baye's theorem with biased coin
- Rolling a die until a particular sequence
- Order statistics
- Two pointers
I was given a LeetCode medium problem and completed the solution live, followed by a straightforward probability question. Throughout the interview the interviewer seemed disengaged and did not respond to my questions, which made the entire experience feel quite unpleasant.
