I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at StackAdapt in June 2024
Interview
Interviewing with StackAdapt was a great process. Full disclosure - I did receive an offer, however before that even happened I had actually emailed them and let them know how wonderful the process was. It was very comfortable, inviting and respectful. I applied through the StackAdapt website after seeing the job advertised on LinkedIn.
My first meeting was with a recruiter, she was so kind and asked questions about my background to ensure I would be a good fit for the position.
My second round was with the manager of the department - we talked about my past experience, and he asked me some questions about different projects I had worked on. He informed me I would be sent a case study to complete.
The case study had a few questions that were easy to answer if you are familiar with the systems and languages used. I enjoyed it and put a lot of work into making it appear concise and professional. Practice your presenting! :)
The last meeting was with the same Manager, and also the Director of the department to present the case study. They were so welcoming and great throughout the presentation. Their questions were clear, they were interested in what I had to say and it made me feel very at ease.
I've had some experiences with tech companies that claim to be this way, but they never are. After my interview, I emailed the manager and thanked them for such a great experience.
I received my offer the next day.
