I’m writing this review to share my experience with the recruitment process at Staffbase for the Senior Software Engineer role.
Overall, the interview itself went well and was a positive experience. However, the communication from the recruiting side was disappointing. Before the interview, I repeatedly asked what kind of interview, but I did not receive any clear information. This made it difficult to prepare properly.
After the interview, I followed up multiple times requesting feedback, but the recruiter did not provide any helpful response. Constructive feedback is an important part of the hiring process, especially for senior-level candidates, and the lack of it felt unprofessional.
I believe the recruiting team could significantly improve by being more transparent, responsive, and prepared when engaging with candidates.
