Interview
The recruitment process comprised of four stages: a chat with the Operations Manager, a written assessment, an interview with the Head of Customer Success and the Player Success Growth Specialist, and a final chat with the CEO of Stakester. Each interviewer was well prepared and asked some challenging questions in relation to my work experience and the answers I gave on my written assessment, which showed to me that they had really taken the time to read through everything I had presented. The communication throughout the process was top tier and I was informed of my progress after each stage. In comparison to other recruitment processes, interviews and assessment days that I have taken part in, Stakester really stood out and went the extra mile to make the process as easy and transparent for me as possible. Although they have a thorough recruitment process, I really do think it is necessary to ensure that the candidates they hire are the right fit for the roles they offer and likewise, are a good fit for the candidate as well. I also think that the more challenging the recruitment process and interviews are, the more rewarding it is for both parties in the long run. I also had additional questions after my interviews and they followed up on those with me right away - which sounds like such a small thing but after many, many interviews with other companies, this is very rare! In the end, I had two competing offers and really, this was one of the biggest selling points for me as to why I chose to accept the offer from Stakester. Overall, it was a really positive experience and had I not been offered the role, I would have followed up with them anyway to thank them for the time and effort put in to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible for me as a candidate. If you’re considering interviewing for a position at Stakester, I’d definitely recommend going for it!
