Standard Cognition had a multi part interview process. The technical interview centered around full range of hardware knowledge and Linux OS competency, as expected. The in person interview was great. The hardware team had setup a huge table full of parts and asked that I build a server. This was a lot of fun. I built the server, but there was some bad parts included on the table, classic hardware joke, and a great test of abilities. I was able to troubleshoot the bad parts and successfully built a working remote access GPU server. Altogether a fantastic team of people at Standard.
