The lab I interviewed at had a 5 stage interview, the last one was an all day interview which took 6 hours. I did not hear back for a month afterwards and only got a rejection letter after several follow-ups
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
why did you choose to move from your previous research focus to the research focus of our lab
First round of interview is with either hiring manager or recruiter and then no response from them. I had applied for bunch of CRC roles in last two years but no luck
I applied online. I interviewed at Stanford University
Interview
Initial screening with the supervisor (about 30 minutes) and then a "meet the team" interview format (about 2.5 hours). Responsive with scheduling. Nice team, provided insight about the study, responsibilities, and professional development opportunities.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) in June 2023
Interview
I had a great interview with Dr. Day, who described his research in detail and allowed me to ask technical questions. In all, it was a laid back yet formal interview, where I had the chance to discuss my strengths and show my enthusiasm for his research.
