I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
interview process included call with coordinators, research scientist, then final round with the PI. it was straightforward, asked about my relevant experiences and did not focus too much on the technicalities of their lab but more of about the transferrable skills. unfortunately, after the final round, they said they did not have enough budget for the role and closed the role

Interview
I interviewed for a couple of jobs here. They are not difficult at all and usually lean on the informal side. For the role I got hired for, I met with the hiring manager over zoom (went amazing), met with the other CRCs via zoom and then met with one of the PIs. I was hired within the week and they were great w communication.
Other 2 interview experiences with Stanford very fairly good for the most part. Communication was iffy sometimes with them but that's expected if I didn't get the role lol.

Applied 4 months ago and was reached out through email. After setting up a phone call, a zoom interview with the team was done. Fairly simple process, after they reviewed references they will let you know their decisions.
