I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Staples (Brampton, ON) in Aug 2013
Interview
After dropping off my resume, I waited for a few days for a call back. They called me in for an interview and asked about my previous experiences, future aspirations, and salary expectations. They only offer minimum wage so that was pointless. I was hired for a part-time role on the spot with the condition of 6 month probation period. During this time, they could fire for any reason they wanted to. They told me that I would primarily get evening shifts and I would need to be available for at least 12 hours during the week.
