My profile was given to star health through a consultancy and they agreed for 30% hike, which is according to industry standards. Star Health took 3 technical rounds. 1st Round for DSA. 2nd round for coding. 3rd Round for application design. I cleared all the rounds and done with HR Round also. During HR round, it was told to me that 30% is too much. Near 20% hike they can offer but they will try for 30% hike. I uploaded all the documents and waited for offer letter. HR confirmed for the offer letter release and hiring manager liked my profile very much snd asked me to inform my manager as well to get an early release. On the day I had to receive the offer letter, HR told CDTO(chief digital technology officer) wants one more round of interview. It took one month to get scheduled. Meanwhile I was getting calls for same position from other Consultancies so it seems that they started looking for other candidates without releasing my offer letter and unnecessary taking time to get other candidate interviewed. After a month I had call with CDTO for 5-10 mins, he asked to turn off the video and asked very basic question on what technologies I worked. Next week I got to know that feedback received was technical expectations not mached. My only point is, during HR round it was told to me that my profile is very good and liked during the interviews. What went wrong with CDTO , as in other 3 technical round during introduction and in my resume as well it is mentioned on what technologies I worked, so how this question can decide the last round. There was no other question related to roles and responsibilities, day to day work, etc. It simply seems inbetween they got some other candidates and to save some amount they wasted my more than a month time. Either before scheduling 1st Round or during HR round they should tell me the budget, May be I was able to join with 20% hike.
Other cons of the company:
