I applied online. I interviewed at Starbuzz Tobacco (Garden Grove, CA) in Sept 2016
Interview
The interview process was fairly basic and straight-forward. I received an email inviting me for an interview and replied that I would go to the interview. Find the place a little trick since it's a little hidden behind a shopping area, in an industrial-looking property area. The company seemed friendly and asked a lot of position related questions to which I answered to. After sometime I was invited back into their office for a 2nd interview. The second interview was much shorter and was basically for the company to "put a face" on the top 3 candidates. After the 2nd interview, I was told that someone would contact me whether or not I got the position. After over 4-5 months, I finally hear back from the company that I was the chosen candidate for the graphic designer position via email. I called the company back and I stated that I was interested in being hired and also asked if they could negotiate a salary range between $55K-$60K. The company said that they will speak with upper management about my salary range requirements and that the company will get back to me. After 2 weeks I still don't hear from the company. I email the company to follow-up with on the status of hiring me and the company replies that they are in a "busy season" and will get back to me sometime in mid-May. Since then I have not heard back from the company. I found their communication and follow-up to be very unprofessional and disrespectful.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Starbuzz Tobacco in Nov 2014
Interview
They called, met with the general manger, apparently they don't have HR, then met with the accountant; not sure why, they both asked very basic questions, the interview lasted for 15 minutes, they called me back after 4 days, I was offered the position
