I applied online and got a response from HR that same day. We arranged for an informal phone interview to take place one week later to make sure that it was a good fit.
After the phone interview, I was scheduled to do an in-person interview at the headquarters with the hiring manager two days later, and that experience was a positive one. I felt that I had a good sense of the company and its culture, and I was eager to see how things would progress.
Two weeks later we arranged a video call with the CMO that ultimately ended with a rejection.
My only critique is that the process took quite long and went pretty high up just to receive notice that they went with another candidate for the role three days after that final interview. My other friends who work in the industry thought it was somewhat excessive to have someone meet with the CMO if they weren't positive that an offer would be extended the next day, especially after a month-long recruitment process.
The experience overall was a positive one and I appreciate the responsiveness of the recruiter, who was a pure delight to work it. The hiring manager was also very personable and relatable as well. I would still consider working for them in the future if another similar role were listed.
