I applied online. I interviewed at StatRad in Apr 2017
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter the beginning of a week for a phone interview. I spent all week preparing for it. Literally TWO minutes before my scheduled interview, I get an email from them saying that the role had been changed and they are no longer interviewing. Two minutes....
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at StatRad (Edina, MN) in Sept 2016
Interview
Couple different lunches, one with the hiring manager and one with a software engineer on the team. Both enthusiastic, laid-back, and interested in discussing fun tech and interesting issues being solved.
Following that, when things became more serious I had a 45 minute meeting with a VP to talk about culture fit type of stuff.
I was given a take-home test which is a really fun and interesting approach. It was designed to test how well I can problem solve in setting up tech I've never worked with before, and then doing a mini-demo to walk through it.
