I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at State of Oregon (Eugene, OR) in Oct 2015
Interview
Apply online. You are asked a lot of questions, which they use to screen for experience. Then you are invited to interview. There are a series of questions asked, using the S.O.A.R. method. If you score in the top (however many minimum they need) they will then check your references. If those check out they will offer you the position, pending a background check which can be 7-60 days depending on your circumstances. Then they will offer a start date. The process can take months.

Diversity is an important part of any workplace. Tell us about a time when you had a problem with a coworker, based on cultural differences and how did you overcome that?

Interview
1. Applied online, submitted materials, and answered supplemental questions.
2. Waited two weeks after job closed to take a skills test. Chose 1 of 3 testing times. There were 20+ people there to test. Skills test was on paper and consisted of finding errors and reading tables for data.
3. Two days later, I received an email to schedule an interview. I selected my time, arrived 15 minutes early, and was interviewed by 3 people. They wrote my answers down. They were very kind and it was not a stressful experience.
4. It's been 3 weeks from my last interview and I have not heard back. I assume that I did not get the job.

Interview
Excellent. Was asked by a panel and also translated a form for them. Consisted of six questions in which I was given 15 minutes to answer. The questions were all situational and to be answered in POST method.
