Applied online, couple weeks later got a phone call for a phone screen interview. Phone screen went very well, couple days later got a call from HR to schedule an interview with engineering management. The interview was on a Saturday and was conducted via MS Teams. The interview itself went very well, had a good discussion with one of the technical managers about some of the engineering practices that my company does differently. Sent a thank you email after the interview. Followed up with HR a week later; no reply. Followed up again; no reply. I gave her a phone call couple weeks later and she said that she's not the actual hiring manager and that I need to reach out to someone else. She gave me her email address. This 'someone else' didn't even attend the interview so not sure how she would even provide feedback or make a decision. I sent the other person an email and again as I expected, no reply or feedback. Not sure if this a case of communication breakdown or just lack of professionalism but this experience confirms they don't respect people's time. What a big waste of time.
